Family Vacation: Day Three

July 19, 2011

The kids started the morning with lining up all the water bottles they could find on the window sill. I guess they were bored. Whatever keeps them happy and busy is okay with me.

Baby was very happy chasing whatever bottles she could find around. It seemed though that each time that she got her hands on a bottle there was an older sibling there that was say, “No, no,” and take her bottle away. At least she didn’t seem too bothered by it.

The kids spent a little time fishing. The Princess loved it, while the Joker had no patience to sit that long (surprise, surprise), and the Bear was content to sit with Grandma B.

Behind the wheel was the Joker’s favorite place to be. Doesn’t she look at home?

The kids swam all day but in the morning the water was still a little cold for the Joker. So, she just stood and stared and whined.

Reinman’s siblings took it upon themselves to swim out to the raft and play some water ball game. I didn’t stay out there long because there were horseflies everywhere and they wanted to get me. That and the raft was surrounded by weeds. No thank you.

The Princess found a little raft and spent the better part of the day on it. And the Baby spent some time in her stroller. What a couple of cuties!

I managed to get a picture of the Bear taking a nap, which is no easy feat considering the consequences if you wake a sleeping bear. I’m happy to be alive.
